Walter Schoenherr, auxiliary bishop of the Archdiocese of Detroit. Julie and I were received into the Church by Bp. Schoenherr last September, and we’re deeply saddened by his passing. He was a kind, gentle soul, and I will always remember him. Please consider him in your prayers.

And let perpetual light shine upon him.
