In the words of one Iowa voter quoted in the article linked above, &#8220;<span class="storytext">We have some differences, but he&#8217;s electable.&#8221; Ugh &#8211; electability, national security props &#8211; all of that is supposed to make me forget that he&#8217;s an amoral slimeball who claims to be Catholic while promoting behaviors that are decisively against our most holy faith? God help us all.</span></p>
